I weaved this collection of micro-macrame necklaces in the heart of the Maasai people in Tanzania in the view of a volcano by Lake Natron. I was so inspired by their beautifully beaded jewelry and even got to craft bracelets with the Maasai women in Amboseli in Kenya. I wanted to bless this collection with the energy of Tanzania & Africa – so I trekked with them all the way up to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro – the highest peak in all of Africa. This collection has been on a journey I only ever could have dreamed of taking with my crafts.
